It's official.... Jack's late

Much like his father, Jack has decided to be fashionably late.   I blame Casey.  Not only has he been teasing me that Jack will be 2 weeks late, but he also made the comment yesterday during the afternoon "When have I ever been on time?"  It's all his fault, I blame him. BUT I blame him with a grin on my face because if you can't grin and bear it, what else can you do?

Last night was kind of a rough night.  I have managed to pick up a head cold (Lily had one last week, although it seems like hers wasn't as bad as mine is... I think pregnancy has made feel worse than it actually is.) and after we got home from doing a little bit of shopping yesterday I took the Mac Book upstairs and vegitated with my Doctor Who discs.  When Casey came to bed he said that I felt warm, so I went downstairs and took my temperature.  It turned out I didn't have one (a good thing), but I did spend the night with a cool wash cloth on my head.  For some reason, falling asleep with a wash cloth on my head when I'm not feeling good always helps me sleep better.  Go figure.

I have another OB appointment this morning at 11:20.  We'll see how things are going then.  I'm going to talk to them about this cold.  Casey, who has been wonderful at jinxing me lately, said something to the effect of being in labor and being sick would be an all new level of hell tht shouldn't be experienced by any woman anywhere.

I think I'm going to go take a nap before I have to go to my appointment.  Otherwise I won't be able to function today.  I think the less I do today the better.  I want to do some more laundry, but that's not terribly taxing.  We'll see.

When the baby delivers has nothing to do with the father's genetics. Delivery is triggered by the mother's uterus, not the fetus. It's YOUR fault. :)
