What's a bedtime?

This weekend has been all about the fun for us here at Casa Stone. Matt came in Thursday, albeit not for fun, but we had a good visit and distracted him with lots and lots of Rock Band. Matt, the kids and I had a late dinner with his mom. They got good news so all was well and lots of stress was lifted on their end of things. Friday I had planned to drive to Indy and pick up Trevor but had baby issues and convinced Trevor that he should drive our way.

And so this brings us to Friday evening!!! Party at our house! Whoo hoo! Trevor arrived around 5:30 (I was out dropping off Lily and picking up supplies...like Guitar Hero 3 so we'd have a second guitar to use and could rock with a full band) and then Mickie and family got their around 6:30, everyone else started arriving around 7PM. We ate burgers despite it getting colder and colder as the evening progressed and then... Rock Band! It was our first time that we had a REAL Rock Band party and we have ABSOLUTELY got to do it again!!

We rocked out until the wee hours of the evening and then after everyone left we watched a very interesting film that Trevor brought called Careful. It was an odd Canadian film that had so many interesting undertones that I can't even begin to explain it. Interesting, definitely art house.

Today we've been hanging out talking about movies, watching movies, just hanging out. It's been really quite nice. More Rock Band was played, but we've kind of rock band-ed out. That happens, though.

Tomorrow I have no idea what's going on. It's the last day of spring break so we'll probably stay home and relax.

I'm off. Jackson is having issues getting to sleep so I'm going to try and get him to sleep by laying down with him.
