Weirdest. Milkjug. Ever.

I picked it this up at Sam's Club last week when my Dad was in town.   It is indeed a gallon of milk.  I didn't really need milk when I picked it up, but I couldn't help it.  I was oddly drawn to it.  The main question in my head "Why the heck change a gallon of milk?"  What purpose would changing what has been the same shape since I can remember.  It wasn't broke, so why fix it?  ACK! THE ODDITY! IT CONFOUNDS ME!  The thing is, when I went grocery shopping this morning, the gallons had not changed at other stores... just Sam's Club.  I have to say that I while the shape confuses me a bit, the jug is thinner and fits conveniently in the door of my fridge.  It's also easier to pour.  Well, at least for the kids it is.  

So, does this mean I'm going to start buying my milk at Sam's Club just so I can say "Look at this weird gallon of milk I bought!"  Yep, I think so.  Or maybe not... especially if gas prices keep going the way they are...
