I am blogging from the mac book. I don't know what I did or how I did it but the secondary monitor is working again. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that I unplugged everything and then reconnected it, but something happened and the secondary monitor is working. This means that I can now sit at my desk once again and play on my own computer as opposed to using the Mac Pro, which frankly, was spoiling me.

Now, if only I could find my library card, I'd be set...
